Rio 210-280 Extendable Table

The Rio 210–280cm Extendable Outdoor Dining Table is made for long lunches, family gatherings and generous outdoor entertaining. Designed and manufactured by NARDI of Italy, this large extendable outdoor table combines architectural lines, practical comfort and durable materials built for everyday outdoor living.

At its standard 210cm length, the Rio comfortably seats 8. When extra guests arrive, the table extends to 280cm to seat 10 with ease, giving you the flexibility to move from everyday dining to full-scale entertaining in minutes. The 100cm width also gives you more room through the centre of the table for shared platters, BBQ dishes and relaxed summer dining.

Choose from two premium tabletop options. The classic Rio features NARDI’s polypropylene and fibreglass resin tabletop with a faux timber-slat look and coated aluminium legs. The Rio Alu option upgrades the table with a coated aluminium top and frame, finished with a subtle ribbed slat texture for a refined, contemporary look. Both options are low maintenance, weather resistant and easy to clean, making them ideal for patios, decks, gardens and commercial outdoor dining spaces.

The Rio’s extension system keeps the legs positioned at the ends of the table, helping maximise legroom and comfort even when fully extended. Available in versatile outdoor colours including Charcoal, White and Taupe, the Rio 210–280cm is a statement outdoor dining table with the practicality to match.

Materials & Care

NARDI Polypropylene & Fibreglass Resin:

Injection‑moulded polypropylene reinforced with glass fibre. UV‑stabilised and coloured through‑the‑mass, resulting in a uniformly pigmented, fade-resistant, 100 % recyclable shell that remains light, strong and weather‑resistant.

HOW TO CLEAN IT:
• Wash the product with water to remove any surface dirt and dust.
• Spray the surface with a non-aggressive universal detergent.
• Leave the detergent to work for a few minutes, then wipe with a damp cloth or sponge.
• To remove stubborn dirt and surface marks, we recommend using the Magic Sponge Nardi** melamine resin sponge.
• Use a toothbrush to remove dirt from small spaces.
• Rinse with plenty of water and dry with a dry cloth.

WARNINGS

When cleaning, do not use aggressive detergents and/or abrasive materials that may scratch the surface.
For dark-coloured products (tobacco, charcoal, etc.), we recommend placing them in shaded areas to best preserve their colour over time.

NARDI Powder Coated Aluminium:

Aluminium is a very hard-wearing material, used for large table frames and contract table bases. It is versatile, easily sanitized and can be 100% recycled countless times while maintaining its structural properties

HOW TO CLEAN IT
• Remove any dust from the surface with a cloth.
• Spray the surface with a non-aggressive universal detergent (or alternatively with neutral soap dissolved in water) and spread it over the surface.
• Leave it to work for a few minutes.
• Rinse and dry the product with a sponge or dry cloth

WARNINGS
Do not use aggressive granular detergents or solvents, as they will ruin the surface paint of the aluminium.

Stylish, Hassle-Free Table

We are really pleased with the table. It looks great and adds a smart, stylish touch to our outdoor setup. The extendable functionality is a bonus and it gives us the flexibility for more seating when needed.

That said, a little word of caution for future buyers: we’ve already incurred a very minor scratch on the surface. While it’s not major, it’s worth noting that using harsh items or dragging anything across the top could mark it. So, if you’re particular about flawless surfaces, it’s wise to treat with care.

On the upside, assembly was a breeze. It took one person less than ten minutes to put together, with minimal fuss, which is a big win.

Our net chairs with arms just fit under the table (so if you have chairs with arms, check your clearance). Once fitted, the table and chairs combo looks very cohesive.

Delighted that it is a low-maintenance item that won’t require the frequent oiling or upkeep that timber furniture often does. For us, the blend of style, practicality and ease of care makes this a very good purchase.

Stylish table & chairs

Lovely, stylish furniture. Looks great on my deck. Did need to call cause instructions were unclear. One chair arrived damaged but is being replaced. Probably had not anticipated that the dark grey table gets very hot in the sun so a hole for an umbrella would be a good addition.

Stylish and durable - 5 stars!

Absolutely love the design of this table and the chairs we got with it. It is sturdy, modern and seems as though it will weather the elements well (have only had it for a few weeks). Also love that it’s low maintenance compared to timber options. Great service over the phone too when I rang to discuss the different table top options
