Free Shipping Policy
Orders of NZ$699 or more ship free to main‑centre street addresses. Orders that do not meet the free‑shipping threshold will incur a shipping charge at checkout.
Rural Address Shipping (RD)
Carriers charge substantially more for RD routes; we cannot deliver free to rural (RD) addresses.
If your order qualifies for free shipping (barring your RD address) and you do not wish to pay shipping, you can either:
- Provide an alternate main‑centre delivery address.
- Use the address of your local Mainfreight depot as your delivery address and pick up the goods directly from there.
- Under the order notes section of the transaction, include a message stating that you intend to pick up direct from the depot.
Shipping Times
Dispatch
We strive to process and dispatch orders as quickly as possible. Care must be taken in how things are packed for freighting; we’d rather things arrive in the new condition they were shipped in as opposed to being damaged in transit. Typically orders ship out within 2‑business days. Periods of higher volume do occur that may affect our dispatch times.
Shipping
Typical shipping times are up to 7 days for North Island deliveries and up to 10 days for South Island deliveries from the time the order is dispatched. Rural RD shipping may take longer. Most orders arrive quicker than the above times. Weather and unforeseen circumstances can also have an impact.
Returns & Exchanges
Our return policy lasts 30 days. To be eligible for a return your items must be:
- Unused in brand‑new condition
- Have tags still attached
- In original packaging
Some fees such as payment‑processing fees or buy‑now, pay‑later fees are non‑refundable.
Return shipping on change‑of‑mind returns
Regrettably, due to the high cost of domestic freight in New Zealand, we are unable to provide free return shipping for change‑of‑mind returns. The balance between the best service and delivering you the best price falls here (this is the only way we are able to offer free delivery). We genuinely wish this could be different—apologies, and thank you for your understanding.

Scudo Folding Table Base
The Scudo Folding Table Base is designed & made in Italy by NARDI with high-quality aluminium that’s outdoor safe, weather & UV resistant. A very multipurpose table base, the Scudo looks the part in both indoor and outdoor environments.
The table top folds over and reveals a practical handle for carrying and moving the table around, very useful if you’re a café or restaurant that takes their tables inside overnight. The table legs are staggered which allow the bases to be stacked horizontally when not in use, saving a great deal of space in the process. The folding mechanism is solid, robust, and well-built, standing up to the constant use of a hospitality environment such as pubs and bars that move them around all the time. The table feet contain an adjustable levelling mechanism, which eliminates rocking and swaying on uneven surfaces.
The Scudo Folding Table Base is suited to table top sizes of 600mm X 600mm, 700mm X 700mm, 800mm X 800mm, ø600mm, ø700mm, ø800mm. The Scudo and other NARDI made table bases match perfectly with their range of table tops, which all have pre-drilled screw inserts that are correctly spaced for all their table base options, this allows you to mix and match to find the perfect combination for your home or venue.
The height of the table base is 72cm, adding this to the thickness of the table top will give you the height to the surface of your complete table.
The Scudo Folding Table Base is manufactured for the contract/commercial markets needing table solutions such as restaurants, bars, cafés, hotels and other hospitality venues. This robust table base solution comes with a 2-year commercial grade manufacturer backed warranty, which gives our customers peace of mind.
