NARDI have performed research and testing on the material over decades, and have refined it to an extremely high-quality level.
NARDI’s policy of sourcing of materials locally allows for perfect control over the quality of batch of product.
WITHSTANDS NATURE
Weatherproof & UV Resistant
Hard-wearing polypropylene & fiberglass resin furnishes one summer after the other. Withstands both the weather and saline environments, with no metal to rust.
The high-end resin is batch-dyed and treated with an anti ultra-violet (UV) agent, producing collections of chairs & tables that stay vibrant in colour over time, even when they are exposed to atmospheric pollutants and salty sea air (saline) conditions for extended periods.
The Faro Breakfast Bar Stool’s Colour Range:
Charcoal
Charcoal grey is an intermediate ground between two non-colours, black and white, in the case of this particular charcoal, heavily skewed toward black. In recent years it has become a favourite of minimal, modern and clean interior and exterior design – adding depth wherever its placed. Its softer than black, and plays well with a variety of colour combinations. Often observed in nature it lends itself well to natural colour palettes such as those of wood and stone, or the greenery background of a garden.
The native Italian name, Anthracite, gets its name from a coal renowned for few impurities. It’s famed for its semi-reflective rich silvery glow, called a submetallic lustre.
White
White is bright, fresh and clean, adding these qualities to your elevated seating area is rarely a bad idea. What better way than with these beautiful white bar stools? White is a flexible neutral that really struggles to find a colour scheme or design style it doesn’t fit with. It does extremely well against texture such as wood, brick & concrete – this effect tends to make you notice the texture more, while also giving off a beautiful white colour pop. White can simplify a space, but won’t dull it!
Taupe
In the native Italian tongue, this Taupe colour is called “Tortora”, the direct English translation being “Turtle Dove”, which indicates Turtle Dove Grey. In reality, Taupe doesn’t fit in with the Grey or Brown colour families. It rests somewhere in the middle. We like to think of it as a beautiful beigey-grey. This Taupe Bar Stool tends to appear warmer than a bright white would and brings to the table the decorative flexibility of a tasteful neutral colour.
Red
If you’re reading this, you’re one of the more daring. Bright reds, such as the tone of these Red Bar Stools are a bold move, that, when done well will bring your kitchen or dining space some real personality. Red conveys a stimulating, lively vibe, and can be the perfect accent colour with its energy and inherent ability to catch eyes. Red can definitely complement an aesthetic kitchen, this reigns especially true when using it in combination with the common modern kitchen tons of white, black and silver, white especially, for a fashionable and harmonious ambiance. Erring on the side of caution is the safest option – use of the colour Red should be on the moderate side, it’s impact can get overwhelming and overstimulating when used in excess.
Sky Blue
Blue is frequently cited as a favourite colour of both men and women alike, making it versatile for any project with a design focus in mind. This Light Blue specifically, the Italians call Celeste – drawing its name from “celestial”, or sky blue, the colour of clear skies. It’s a colour that features heavily in nature and more specifically, is associated with springtime. For this reason, sky blue typically elicits soothing feelings of peace and calm – hospitals routinely capitalise on this, using the colour for their patient rooms. Perhaps we could all use a bit more sky-blue peace and tranquillity in our highly-strung tech-dominated lives of the 21st century.
Typical colour pairings include light shades of beige and grey, or contrasting this particular sky blue with other darker shades of blue, such as midnight or navy.
